Bad Habit Productions Announces Casting for Arcadia

Bad Habit Productions has announced casting for its production of Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia, August 11-28, at the Virginia Wimberly Theatre in the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. Artistic Director Daniel Morris will direct.

Set in an English country house in both 1809-1812 and the present day, Arcadia examines the universe’s influence in our lives. It blurs edges between past and present, science and art, order and disorder, and the certainty of knowledge. The play concerns the discoveries of two modern scholars and the fates of those who lived in the estate and its gardens over 200 years earlier.

The cast will feature Alycia Sacco as Thomasina Coverly, Greg Nussen as Septimus Hodge, John Geoffrion as Bernard Nightingale, Sarah Bedard as Hannah Jarvis, Arthur Waldstein as Jellaby, Nora Long as Lady Croom, Luke Murtha as Gus/Augustus Coverly, David Lutheran as Ezra Chater, Rebbekah Vega Romero as Chloe Coverly, Nick Chris as Valentine Coverly, Glen Moore as Captain Brice, and Chris Larson as Richard Noakes.
