Washington Stage Guild to Present the World Premiere of Amelia
The Washington Stage Guild will present the world premiere of Alex Webb’s Amelia, A Story of Abiding Love, to run January 5-January 29. Bill Largess will direct the production, which will feature Webb and.Shirleyann Kaladjian.
Set during the American Civil War, the play is based on the true story of one woman’s efforts to rescue her husband from the prison camp at Andersonville, Georgia.
The creative team will include Kirk Kristilibas (set design), Eva Gonzales De Yanes (costume design), Stowe Nelson (sound design), and Marianne Meadows (lighting design).
