Tyne Daly to Host the Helen Hayes Star Gala in October

Tony Award and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly will host the Helen Hayes Star Gala, to be held on Friday October 15 at 6:30pm at The Four Seasons Hotel Washington. The event will raise funds to underwrite the audience development and community service programs of The Helen Hayes Awards.

At the event, which will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, Susan & Dixon Butler and Pete Miller & Sara Cormeny will be honored with Helen’s Star Awards, recognizing their contributions to theater in the Washington area.

The gala will also feature a raffle for prizes that highlight the work of the area theaters and the community and live auction, which will include lots featuring travel packages to Costa Rica, India, Russia, Santa Barbara, and Vietnam.
