TheatreWashington’s Star Gala & Benefit Auction Set for October 28

TheatreWashington will present the 22nd annual Star Gala and Benefit Auction at The Four Seasons Hotel Washington on October 28, beginning at 6:30pm.

The evening will raise funds to support the community building, audience development, and education services provided to theatres, artists, and audiences throughout the Washington community. It will include silent and live auctions conducted by Sebastian Clarke of Antiques Roadshow. Additionally, two special champions of Washington area theaters will be honored with Helen’s Star.

TheatreWashington is the new name that The Helen Hayes Awards will take on in the fall, to reflect the breadth and geographic scope of its activities. The organization is dedicated solely to promoting, representing, and supporting all segments of Washington’s professional theater community.
