James Leaming will star in the solo play, This Wonderful Life, adapted by Steve Murray, and being presented by Asolo Repertory Theatre, December 4-28, with an opening on December 5. Peter Amster will direct.

Adapted from the beloved Frank Capra holiday film, It's a Wonderful Life, the action takes place over the course of one Christmas Eve in Bedford Falls, though many events are also revealed in 'flashbacks' to earlier years. Leaming will bring 31 characters to life, telling a heartwarming tale of love and renewed purpose. The actor has previously played the role of George Bailey for six seasons in It's a Wonderful Life at American Theater Company (ATC) in Chicago.

The creative team will include Jeffrey W. Dean (set), David Covach (costumes), Aaron Muhl (lighting), and Kevin Kennedy (sound).
