Ray Abruzzo to Star in Lombardi at Mosaic Theatre

Acclaimed actor Ray Abruzzo of HBO’s The Sopranos will star in the lead role of Vince Lombardi in the play Lombardi by Eric Simonson at the Mosaic Theatre from November 10-December 4.

Lombardi is the story of legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi and his wife Marie. The play takes place mostly in November of 1965 when a young journalist comes from New York City to live with the Lombardi family in order to write a story.

The Mosaic’s production of Lombardi will mark the first production of the play in the southeast United States.
