Janet Foster Joins A.C.T. Artistic Team

Janet Foster has been appointed artistic associate and casting director for American Conservatory Theatre.

Foster previously served as casting director at Baltimore’s CENTERSTAGE, Connecticut’s Westport Country Playhouse, New York City’s Playwrights Horizons and Seattle’s Intiman Theatre. Since 1996, she has served as a freelance casting director and has cast a wide range of plays and musicals in New York City and around the country including the Broadway productions of The Light in the Piazza,Lennon and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. In addition to her theatrical endeavors, she also has experience in television and film projects, and served as casting director for Cosby for CBS and Tracy Takes on New York for HBO.
