Cirque du Soleil’s Totem to Play San Francisco in October

Cirque du Soleil’s new big top show Totem will play an engagement in San Francisco beginning October 28, performing under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau located at the AT&T Park. Robert Lepage has written and directed the show.

The show, inspired by myths, traces the journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly.

The creative team includes Carl Fillion (scenic design), Kym Barrett (costume design), Ét ienne Boucher (lighting design), and Guy Dubuc and Marc Lessard (original music).

In related news, it has been announced the show will also be seen in San Jose, beginning performances March 2 at the Taylor Street Bridge.
