Debbie deCoudreaux, Amanda Folena, C.R. Lewis, and Armelia McQueen will star in Center REPertory Company’s Blues in the Night, to be presented May 20-June 25, with an opening on May 24. Robert Barry Fleming will direct and choreograph, with musical direction by Glenn Pearson.

Conceived by Sheldon Epps, this dynamic, jazzy blues-drenched musical combines 26 hot and torchy blues songs from the 1920s and ’30s and adds an irresistible twist to the stage musical genre.

Lewis (The Man in the Saloon) recently appeared in CCMT’s production of Rent in the role of Tom Collins. De Coudreaux (The Woman of the World) was the star of the Moulin Rouge in Paris for eight years, with Broadway credits including Grand Hotel and Show Boat. Folena (The Girl with a Date) recently performed in CenterREP’s Becoming Britney. McQueen (The Lady from the Road) was a member of the original Broadway cast of Ain’t Misbehavin’.
