Wilma Theater Announces Cast for Annie Baker’s Body Awareness

The Wilma Theater will continue its 2011-2012 season with Annie Baker’s Body Awareness . 010 Barrymore Award recipient Anne Kauffman will direct the production, to run January 4-February 5, with an opening on January 11.

In Body Awareness, college professor Phyllis has anything but a conventional life with girlfriend Joyce and her son Jared. But when Frank Bonitatibus, a visiting artist, brings his photographs of nude women into their home, conflicting feelings over sexuality and identity get hilariously stirred up.

The four person cast will include Christopher Coucill, Grace Gonglewski, Dustin Ingram, and Mary Martello.

Baker is an OBIE Award-winning playwright and teacher. Her full length plays include Circle Mirror Transformation and The Aliens.
