Arden Theatre Announces Seafarer Cast and Creative

Cast and creative team information has been announced for the Arden Theatre’s production of The Seafarer, set to play May 14-June 14. David O’Connor will direct.

Set in Dublin on Christmas Eve, Conor McPherson’s play follows Sharky, who has returned home to look after his aging brother who’s recently gone blind. With old drinking buddies on hand for a card game and the arrival of a stranger from the distant past, the stakes get raised and Sharky finds himself playing for his very soul.

The cast will feature Joe Hickey, Anthony Lawton, Brian Russell, Greg Wood, and William Zielinski. The creative team will include David P. Gordon (set design), John Stephen Hoey (lighting design), Jeff Lorenz (sound design), and Alison Roberts (costume design).
