Sue Serio, the weather anchor of FOX-TV’s Good Day Philadelphia will have her professional theater debut in The Media Theatre’s production of A. R. Gurney’s play, Love Letters, February 29-March 4.

This Pulitzer Prize-nominated play focuses on two characters who read the notes, letters, and cards which express their dreams and disappointments that have passed between them throughout their lives–although they have been physically apart for nearly fifty years.

Bill Vargus will star opposite Serio.

At the Media Theatre’s Gala on February 25, Serio will also receive the 2012 Arts Advocate Award due to her support of the theatre’s mission of professional music theatre and education for youth over the years. As previously reported, the Gala will also feature a concert performance by Broadway’s Andrea McArdle.
