Alicia Silverstone to Star in Manhattan Theatre Club Play Of Good Stock

Alicia Silverstone (The Performers) will return to the New York stage this summer in Of Good Stock, a new play by Melissa Ross that will begin performances on June 4 at Manhattan Theatre Club's New York City Center – Stage I. Directed by MTC artistic leader Lynne Meadow, the production will open on June 30.

The play, a tale of three Cape Cod sisters dealing with the legacy of their complicated novelist father, will also feature Heather Lind (The Merchant of Venice), Jennifer Mudge (Into the Woods), Kelly AuCoin (House of Cards), Greg Keller (Belleville), and Nate Miller (Love and Information).

The creative team for Of Good Stock includes Santo Loquasto (scenic design), Tom Broecker (costume design), and Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design).

Of Good Stock received its world premiere as a part of the Pacific Playwrights Festival at South Coast Repertory, where it was commissioned.
