Jeffrey David Sears to Join Off-Broadway’s Avenue Q on December 26

Jeffrey David Sears will join the cast of the hit Off-Broadway musical Avenue Q, now at New World Stages, in the roles of Princeton and Rod on Monday, December 26. The production is directed by Jason Moore and has choreography by Ken Roberson.

The show, which has music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and book by Jeff Whitty focuses on a group of 20-something people and puppets fresh out of college who move to New York City with big dreams. The show won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The creative team includes Anna Louizos (scenic design), Mirena Rada (costume design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), and Acme Sound Partners (sound design). Puppet conception and design is by Rick Lyon.

The cast also includes Lexy Fridell, Nicholas Kohn, Veronica J. Kuehn, Rob Morrison, Hazel Anne Raymundo, and Haneefah Wood.
