Reg E. Cathey, Anthony Cochrane, Brian O'Neill, and Christian Baskous will join previously announced star Andre De Shields in The Flea Theater's production of Joseph Addison's Cato, to run October 10-November 1. The show, to be directed by Jim Simpson, will open officially on October 18.

This 1713 work tells the story of Cato the younger (95-46 B.C.), a Roman Statesman who took sides with Pompey in an unsuccessful civil war against Julius Caesar.

The show will also feature five members of the Bats, the Flea's resident acting company. The creative team includes Zachary Tinkelman (sets and lighting) and Claudia Brown (costumes). Simpson is the company's artistic director and founder.

The Flea's Fall mainstage season will also include Roger Rosenblatt's I Must Be Off, November 13-30. The evening, also to be directed by Simpson, is made up of two one acts: The Oldsmobiles and Blueberry.
