The Mayor's Office of Film, Theater, and Broadcasting and The Living Room for Artists/Summer Play Festival will present a free, hour-long panel discussion on the subject of "Careers in Theatre Management" at 11am on Saturday, January 21 at Theatre Row Theaters (410 West 42nd Street).
The panel will address job responsibilities including casting, financing, marketing, public relations, and general management. It will be moderated by Katherine Oliver, commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Film, Theater, and Broadcasting. Panelists will include David Auster, associate general management of 101 Productions; Steve Winton, CEO of Clear Channel Theatrical; and Harold Wolpert, managing director of the Roundabout Theatre Company.
