The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) held its ninth annual GLAAD OutAuction at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Sunday, November 21.The auction raised over $100,000.
In addition to auctioning off major art works, the event included the presentation of the annual Out in Art Award to photographer David LaChapelle, as well as the announcement of this year’s GLAAD Awards for Best Emerging Artists in the fields of Mixed Media, Painting/Drawing, and Photography.
Guests at the event included theater veterans Anwar Robinson and NaTasha Yvette Williams, along with TV actors and personalities Jensen Atwood, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, David Bromstad, Alex McCord, Josh Kilmer-Purcell, Brent Ridge, Ramona Singer, and Jill Zarin.
