PBS will broadcast the six-hour documentary Circus, on Wednesdays, November 3, 10 and 17. Maro Chermayeff and Jeff Dupre have directed the film.
The documentary follows the Big Apple Circus on a journey from the big top to the “back lot,” where drama unfolds both high in the air and down on the ground. The program reveals the sights, sounds and stories of the circus’ fascinating cultural legacy.
