Alexander Gemignani to Join Kate Baldwin, Aaron Lazar, Christiane Noll at New York Pops’ Stephen Sondheim Concert

Alexander Gemignani will join fellow Broadway stars Kate Baldwin, Aaron Lazar, and Christiane Noll and The New York Pops in a concert of Stephen Sondheim’s greatest songs and soliloquies at Carnegie Hall on Friday, November 19 at 8pm. Steven Reineke will conduct.

Presented in commemoration of the composer’s 80th birthday, the program will feature selections from Sondheim’s musical hits Company, A Little Night Music, Into The Woods, Sweeney Todd, and Sunday in the Park with George, among others.

The evening will also feature Essential Voices USA, a New York based ensemble singing group, led by Judith Clurman. Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris, who had been previously announced to participate, will not be part of the concert..
