Asher, Larsen, Newman, Robbins, Sullivan to Guest Star in Glimpses of the Moon

By: Brian Scott Lipton · Oct 24, 2008  · New York

Lisa Asher, Liz Larsen, Robert Newman, Jana Robbins, and KT Sullivan will be among the guest stars in the musical Glimpses of the Moon, which is playing an open-ended run on Monday nights at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room. The production is directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Denis Jones.

The show is based on the novel by Edith Wharton and features book and lyrics by Taljei Levis and music by John Mercurio. It focuses on popular but penniless Suzy Branch who devises a scheme to marry her friend Nick Lansing and live off the wedding presents while they help find one another suitable millionaires. The plan works perfectly until they fall in love.

The regular cast includes Autumn Hurlbert, Jane Blass, Laura Jordan, Daren Kelly, Chris Peluso, and Glenn Peters. Additional casting, including additional rotating special guest stars, will be announced shortly. The creative team includes Ted LeFevre (scenic consultant), Lisa Zinni (costumes), and Richard Winkler (lighting).
