Target Margin Theatre Announces 2010-2011 Season

Target Margin Theater has announced its 20th anniversary season.

The company’s year will begin, as previously announced, with The Target Margin Laboratory, to be offered November 4-20 at The Brick in Brooklyn. This three week series will feature three productions presented in rotating repertory: the classic avant-garde play The Yellow Sound by Wassily Kandinsky, an experimental theater piece originated by the Russian artist in 1909; The Magic Flute (A Sound-Op Era) adapted from the opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; and the early 20th century American play, The Moth and The Flame by Clyde Fitch.

Also on the theater’s schedule is Second Language, to be offered in February and March at The Chocolate Factory in Long Island City. This new work, created by actors and designers together with students from LaGuardia Community College (LAGCC), will explore the ways in which people communicate.

The Target Margin season will conclude with Shakespeare’s The Tempest, to be presented at HERE Arts Center in May. Casting and creative team will be announced at a later date.
