Kristin Chenoweth, Tim Gunn, Annalynne McCord, et al. Set for Live with Regis and Kelly‘s High-Heel-A-Thon

Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth is scheduled to participate in the 2nd High-Heel-A-Thon to be held on Wednesday, September 22 in Central Park.

The event, sponsored and broadcast as part of ABC’s Live with Regis and Kelly, will benefit the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health in support of The Heart Truth® campaign for women’s heart health education and research.

Chenoweth will join the show’s co-host, Kelly Ripa, and actress Annalynne McCord at the starting line for the 150-yard dash, in which the runners all wear stiletto heels. In addition, fashion expert Tim Gunn will take part in the event as a special High-Heel-a-Thon reporter.

Chenoweth is currently appearing in the Broadway revival of Promises, Promises, and is co-starring in the film You Again, which opens on September 24. She will also be seen again this season on FOX’s Glee, for which she received a 2010 Emmy Award nomination. She won the Tony for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and an Emmy Award for Pushing Daisies.
