John Treacy Egan, Jonathan Kaplan, Jessica Tyler Wright, et al. Set for Naked Angels Offerings

Naked Angels has announced an initial lineup of works that will be presented in September as part of its three-tiered play development program.

On September 13 at 3:30pm, the company will offer a free reading of The Atomic Generation, A New Musical at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theatre as part of its 1st Mondays series. The musical, featuring a book by Josh Halloway and music and lyrics by JC Hopkins, will be directed by Daniel Kutner. The company will feature Bob Ari, Brooke Bloom, John Treacy Egan, Jonathan Kaplan, Lucas Kavner, Herndon Lackey, Karla Mosley, Rachel Ulanet, and Jessica Tyler Wright.

An installment of Naked Angels’ Tuesdays@9 will be offered on September 14 at 9pm at the D-Lounge. These are performances at which writers and actors gather to bring the first breath of life to brand new material A lineup of authors and performers will be announced at a later date.

On September 24 at 4:30pm, Josh Koenigsberg’s The Mnemonist of Dutchess County will be performed at the Ars Nova Penthouse as part of the Angels in Progress series. Laura Savia will direct the piece. Casting will be announced shortly.
