Stage veterans Hugh Dancy and Sarah Paulson will join Elizabeth Olsen in Martha Marcy May Marlene, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Sean Durking has written screenplay and will direct the movie.

The story centers on a young woman (Olsen) who is living with her older sister (Paulson) after escaping a cult. Dancy will play Paulson’s husband.

Dancy was seen earlier this year in The Pride and appeared on Broadway in David Grindley’s production of Journey’s End. His many films include Adam, Black Hawk Down, Ella Enchanted, The Jane Austen Book Club, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. He also received an Emmy Award nomination for his work in the HBO miniseries Elizabeth I.

Paulson starred opposite Linda Lavin in Collected Stories on Broadway last season. Her many theater credits include Still Life, Crimes of the Heart and The Glass Menagerie. She has starred on the TV series Cupid and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

Olsen recently finished filming Peace, Love & Misunderstanding, which also features Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Catherine Keener, Chase Crawford, and Jane Fonda.
