Billy Crystal to Be Honored at The Face of Tisch Gala

Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal will be honored at The Face of Tisch, the Tisch School of the Arts’ annual gala, to be held on Monday December 6 at the Frederick P. Rose Hall.

Arthur Masella will direct the event, which.will raise funds for the school’s efforts to renovate the original home of the Tisch School of the Arts on Second Avenue. Performers for the gala will be announced at a later date.

Crystal, who earned his BFA from Tisch in 1970, won a Tony Award for his solo show 700 Sundays. He has appeared in such films as Throw Momma from the Train, Analyze This, City Slickers, and When Harry Met Sally. He has also hosted the Oscar and Grammy Awards, and received the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize.
