Soho Rep Announces 2010-2011 Season

Soho Rep has announced the plays that will comprise its 2010-2011 season.

The theater will begin the year with Gregory S. Moss’ Orange, Hat & Grace, to run September 15-October 10. Sarah Benson will direct the play which centers on a woman who finds her life upended by a feral suitor and the reappearance of a figure from her past.

The company will feature Matthew Maher, Stephanie Roth Haberle, and Reyna de Courcy. The creative team will include Rachel Hauck (scenic design), Matt Frey (lighting design), Matt Tierney (sound design), and David Hyman (costume design).

Jomama Jones: Radiate (December 28-January 16), directed by Kym Moore, with music direction by Bobby Hlavorson will be the company’s second offering. In this new piece, Jones spins a classic American comeback story, exploring her life and career highs and lows through song and narrative. The company for the piece will also feature Helga Davis and Sonja Perryman.

The Soho Rep season will conclude with Debbie Tucker Green’s Born Bad, to run March 30-April 24. Casting will be announced at a later date.
