David Schwimmer’s Film Trust to Debut at Toronto Film Festival

Broadway veteran David Schwimmer’s film Trust about the damaging effects an online sexual predator has on a family, will debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September, according to published reports.
Schwimmer directed the film wrote the story for the drama — which has a script by Andy Bellin — about a 14-year-old girl (played by Liana Liberatoro) who has been victimized by an adult who gained her trust posing as a teenager on a chat room. The film stars Clive Owen, Catherine Keener, and two-time Tony Award winner Viola Davis
Schwimmer appeared on Broadway in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial and is a member of Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre. He also directed the Off-Broadway production of Stephen Belber’s Fault Lines. He is best known for his work as Ross on the hit sitcom Friends.
