Jason Patric to Star in FX’s Powers Pilot

Stage and screen star Jason Patric will star in FX’s drama pilot Powers, which will be written by Charles H. Eglee and directed by Michael Dinner. Production will begin in July in Chicago.
The pilot is based upon Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s comic book series of the same name, about two homicide detectives in a world where super powers are relatively common. Patric will portray Christian Walker, with Lucy Punch co-starring as fellow detective Deena Pilgrim.
Patric was most recently seen on Broadway earlier this year in That Championship Season, and starred as Brick in the 2003 revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Among his many films are The Lost Boys, Rush, Sleepers, and Your Friends and Neighbors.
