Broadway and film star Brooke Shields will be honored at Inside Broadway’s 2011 Broadway Beacon Awards to be held on Thursday, June 23 at The Players Club. FOX reporter Julie Chang will host the event.
The invite-only ceremony will also honor New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, and Ofer Yardeni, managing partner & co-founder of Stonehenge Partners,
Shields will soon be starring on Broadway in The Addams Family. Her other Broadway credits include Chicago, Cabaret, Wonderful Town, and Grease.
Inside Broadway develops and produces touring equity musical productions as well as vital after-school arts programs that allow New York City students to interact with professionals in the field and experience theater.
