John Gallagher, Jr. to Offer July 18 Ars Nova Benefit Concert

Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr., also sometimes known as Johnny Gallagher, will headline a benefit concert at Ars Nova on July 18 at 8pm.

The event will be a benefit to support Ars Nova’s first ever 54/10 Music Marathon, a summer concert series that will take place July 13-24, and feature such acts as Jay Brannan, Jason Trachetnberg, Cynthia Hopkins, and the Lisps.

The benefit will offer a “behind the music” style acoustic evening with Gallagher, The pop/hip-hop duo Fran Sancisco, which consists of American Idiot cast members Brian Johnson and Chase Peacock, will open the evening, and there will be an afterparty with the concert cast, where DJ Theocracy (American Idiot cast member Theo Stockman) will spin.
