Chace Crawford to Join Jane Fonda, Catherine Keener in Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding Film

Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford will join the previously announced stars and theater veterans Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener in Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding. Bruce Beresford will direct the movie, which has a script by Christina Mengert and Joseph Muszynski.

The film focuses on Diane (Keener), an uptight New York City lawyer who is in desperate need of an escape after her husband asks for a divorce. Along with her two children, she takes refuge at her estranged hippie mother Grace’s (Fonda) farmhouse, where she is exposed to a motley crew of free thinkers. Crawford will play a war-protesting butcher who catches the eye of Diane’s politically active and intellectual daughter.
