Jomama Jones will perform in concert at Symphony Space on June 21-22 at 7:30 and 9:30pm. Bobby Halverson will serve as musical director for the performances.

The concerts will showcase songs from Jones’ album Lone Star, and the CD and show Radiate, as well as other numbers. The performances will also feature the Sweet Peaches (Helga Davis and Sonja Perryman) and musicians Ted Cruz, Sean Dixon, Brandon Lewis, and Michael O’Brien.

In addition, the 7:30pm shows will be introduced by Rhonda Ross and the 9:30pm shows will be introduced by Chris Wells.

Created by artist Daniel Alexander Jones, Jones’ earliest work includes the R&B hits “Ghetto (In My Mind)” and “Afromatic.” In addition to working as a concert performer, Jones has appeared in the film Sister Soul and the Colonizers from Mars and earlier this year, performed Radiate at the Soho Rep.
