The Broadway Musicals of 1997 — to be presented at Town Hall on Monday, June 20 at 8pm — will reunite Chuck Cooper and Lillias White who won Tony Awards for their turns in the 1997 show, The Life. Christiane Noll will direct the concert, with musical direction by Ross Patterson and choreography by Jeffry Denman.

The event is part of the Broadway by the Year series, created, written, and hosted by TheaterMania contributor Scott Siegel.

In addition to reuniting the two performers from The Life, the program will, as previously reported, bring Noll back together with Robert Cuccioli and Linda Eder, who all starred together in the 1997 show Jekyll and Hyde. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The concert will also spotlight songs from The Lion King, Titanic, Play On!, Side Show, Triumph of Love, Dream, Steel Pier, and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
