Leslie Kritzer will offer an additional performance of her show Beautiful Disaster, on May 3 at 9:30pm at Joe’s Pub. The piece, co-written with Randy Blair, had originally been scheduled for a two performance run, May 1-2 at 9:30pm. Vadim Feichtner will serve as musical director of the piece.
Beautiful Disaster takes audiences back to 1995 when setbacks at school and home resulted in some dramatic changes in the performer’s behavior and lifestyle. The piece will use the music of Madonna, Guns n Roses, Alanis Morrisette, Katy Perry, Jane’s Addiction, Snoop Dogg, Tori Amos, and Stephen Sondheim.
Kritzer’s many stage credits include Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde, The Memory Show, POP! , Rooms A Rock Romance, On The Town, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Bat Boy. In addition, she performed Leslie Kritzer is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches at Joe’s Pub.
