Ivy Austin, Eric Poindexter, Michael Willson, et al. Set for Symphony Space’s The Social Networking Follies

An initial lineup of performers has been announced for The Social Networking Follies, the sixth edition of The Thalia Follies, to run May 19-21 at Symphony Space.

Created and written by Isaiah Sheffer with Martin Sage, and featuring original songs by Lanny Myers, the show will poke fun of such argets as Facebook, Twitter, blogs and on-line dating, while also exploring how connectivity and hyper-connectivity, and the time individuals dedicate to it, is changing people’s lives.

The show will feature Ivy Austin, Kathryn Markey, Mary Brienza, The Chalks, singer-songwriter Eric Poindexter, bassist Jay Leonhart, and comedian Michael Willson.
