Aya Cash, Allison Janney, Tony Shalhoub Cast in Friday Night Dinner Pilot

Stage veterans Allison Janney, Tony Shalhoub and Aya Cash will co-star in the NBC pilot Friday Night Dinner, according to Deadline.com.
The series, based on a British television show of the same name, will focus on a quirky Jewish family that has dinner together every Friday night.
Janney and Shalhoub will play the parents, actors Kevin Bigley and Gil Ozeri will play thier sons, Paul and Gary, and Cash will play the boys’ cousin who recently moved back into town.
Janney won the Drama Desk Award for 9 to 5 and received a Tony Award nomination for A View from the Bridge. Shalhoub’s many stage credits include Lend Me a Tenor and The Scene. Cash has appeared in numerous shows including The Pain and the Itch, Happy Hour, and The Other Place.
