Vickie Tanner will star in five free-of-charge performances of her new one-woman play, Running Into Me, to be presented at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre, February 23-27. Bruce McCarty will direct.
In the piece, writer/performer Tanner takes the audience on a ride from her misguided upbringing in the rough Compton neighborhood of Los Angeles to her pursuit of a life as an actor. That roundabout journey leads her back where she came from – as a teaching artist in New York City public schools.
