Ohio West Theatre to Open in Archive Building in Fall 2011

SoHo Think Tank, the company that ran the Ohio Theater at 66 Wooster Street for almost 20 years, will open the Ohio West in The Archive Building at 154 Christopher Street in September 2011.

The company will now have a 73-seat theater, with a wide, deep stage, large, generous dressing rooms, a significant lobby, and room for an office. It will also have a subsidized 10-year lease. No programming has been announced.

Think Tank has been operating under the banner “Ohio Interrupted” at the 3 Legged-Dog theater in Lower Manhattan, and will produce its annual Ice Factory festival there this summer.
