The Flea Theater has extended its production of Trista Baldwin’s American Sexy, which will now close March 6. Mia Walker has directed the production.

The play focuses on four college students who find themselves literally — and metaphorically — detoured on a trip to Las Vegas.

The company features Satomi Blair, Scott Morse, Nicky Schmidlein, and Ron Washington. The design team includes Kate Sinclair Foster (set), Joe Chapman (lighting), Katie Hartsoe (costumes), and Colin Whitley (sound).

Baldwin’s other plays include Sand, Forgetting, and Patty Red Pants, among others. Her work has been produced and developed by such theaters as Women’s Project, The Guthrie, New Georges, Circle X, The Empty Space Theatre, and the National New Play Network.

The creative team will include Kate Sinclair Foster (scenic design), Joe Chapman (lighting design), Katie Hartsoe (costume design), and Colin Whitley (sound design).
