Tony Award winner Barbara Cook will now perform her cabaret show, which is part of Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series, in The Allen Room on Tuesday, February 15, at 8:30pm, rather than the previously scheduled January 12. The postponement, according to press notes, will “allow the singer to recover from a medical procedure to remove a hernia.”

Cook most recently appeared on Broadway in Sondheim on Sondheim, for which she received a 2010 Tony Award nomination. She won a Tony for originating the role of Marian Paroo in The Music Man, and her many additional Broadway shows include Plain and Fancy, Flahooley, She Loves Me, and Candide.

Those holding tickets for the January 12 performance can use their original ticket for the February 15 show. For refunds, contact the Alice Tully Hall Box Office in person or call Lincoln Center’s customer service line at 212-875-5456.
