Andy Donald Named New Artistic Director for Naked Angels

Andy Donald has been named the new artistic director of Naked Angels. He succeeds Geoffrey Nauffts beginning July 2011.

Donald has been an associate artistic director of the company since April 2009, and produced the original Off-Broadway production of Nauffts’ Next Fall, the American premiere of Chloe Moss’ This Wide Night, and Armed and Naked in America: a Naked Angels Issues Project, as well as initiating the inaugural Naked Radio podcast series online. He was the founding artistic director of the Charlie B. Theater Company in Los Angeles, with other directing or producing credits at New York’s Public Theater and Second Stage Theatre.

Naked Angels is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, with upcoming projects including Naked Footprints: An Issues Project (March 24-April 2); Bekah Brunstetter’s A Long and Happy Life (June 14-July 24); and Zayd Dohrn’s Outside People (Fall 2011).
