Hairspray's Kelley and Snow, High School Musical's Ortega, et al. to Receive MMPA's Diversity Awards

Hairspray stars Elijah Kelley and Brittany Snow, and High School Musical director Kenny Ortega, will be among the recipients of the Multicultural Motion Picture Association's 15th annual Diversity Awards, to be presented on Sunday, November 18 at the Globe Theatre at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Other recipients will include actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Idris Elba, Jon Heder, and Mo'Nique, along with the casts of the television series House, The Bronx is Burning, Work Out, Passions, Shark, and The Office.

The event, which will benefit the MMPA's Educational and Developmental Scholarship Fund, is open to the public. Tickets begin at $300. For more information, call 310-358-8300 or visit www.thediversityawards.org.
