Take the Stage with Broadway Stars, an interactive family concert at Carnegie Hall, will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 3pm. The show is the brainchild of married couple Leslie Stifelman and Melissa Rae Mahon, veterans of the Broadway revival of Chicago.

Hosted by Stifelman, Mahon, and composer Thomas Cabaniss, this all-singing, all-dancing show will take audiences behind the scenes to learn the music and choreography from shows including Grease, The Sound of Music, Rent, Hairspray, and more. A few lucky audience members might even make their Carnegie Hall debuts if they're chosen to join the performers on stage.

Mahon, a longtime Chicago ensemble member, directs and choreographs. Stifelman, Chicago's conductor and bandleader, serves as musical director. Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller of Beautiful — The Carole King Musical leads the list of Broadway professionals taking part. Additional cast members will be announced.

Assisting with the action are the Carnegie Hall student ambassadors and the Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music stage choir. Take the Stage features video projections by Dan Scully, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and casting by Duncan Stewart & Company.
