Further casting has been announced for the Broadway premiere of Joe DiPietro's Living On Love, which will star acclaimed soprano Renée Fleming. The comedy, directed by Kathleen Marshall, begins performances on April 1 at the Longacre Theatre, with opening night set for April 20. The 18-week engagement runs through August 2.

Living on Love is inspired by the Garson Kanin play Peccadillo, which tells the story of the celebrated diva Raquel De Angelis (Fleming), who hires a handsome young scribe to chronicle her life when her maestro husband, Vito, becomes enamored with the young woman hired to ghostwrite his mostly fictional autobiography. This production made its debut in 2014 at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Fleming, who makes her Broadway debut with the production, will be joined by Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills (The Scarlett Pimpernel) as Vito De Angelis, two-time Emmy nominee Anna Chlumsky (currently starring in You Can't Take It With You) as Iris Peabody, Blake Hammond (First Date) as Bruce, and Scott Robertson (Choir Boy) as Eric. All four newly announced actors, along with Fleming, starred in the Williamstown staging. Casting for the role of Robert Samson, originated in the Williamstown production by Justin Long, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The creative team includes Derek McLane (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Scott Lehrer (sound design), and Rob Fisher (music consultant).
