Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will be guest starring on FOX Television’s hit series Glee, according to the Associated Press. The actress’ appearance will come during the second half of the show’s first season, which is scheduled to begin in April.

There’s no official word on the character that Menzel will be playing on the show, although published reports have named her as the coach of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline. There has also been speculation that she will play the biological mother of Lea Michele’s character Rachel, a young woman being raised by two gay men.

Menzel won a Tony for Best Actress in a Musical for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked. She also received a Tony nomination for playing Maureen in Rent, a role she recreated for the 2005 film version. She also appeared in the London concert version of Chess, and starred in the Off-Broadway musical The Wild Party. Menzel also co-starred in the Oscar-nominated film Enchanted opposite Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey.
