Erik Altemus and Matt Leisy to Join Off-Broadway's The Fantasticks

Erik Altemus will take over the role of Matt from Nick Spangler in The Fantasticks at the Snapple Theatre Center on December 14. On December 28, Matt Leisy will assume the role of The Mute.

Altemus most recently appeared as Frankie Epps in the Musical Theatre Guild of Los Angeles' production of Parade. Among his other stage credits are Camelot, Annie, and Meet Me in St. Louis for The Muny and Phantom at Music Theater West. Leisy recently appeared in The History Boys at St. Louis Rep. His other credits include A Christmas Carol, Camelot, and Oliver!

The Fantasticks, with music by Harvey Schmidt and book, lyrics and direction by Tom Jones, also features Lewis Cleale, MacIntyre Dixon, Tom Flagg, Gene Jones, Michael Nostrand, Evy Ortiz, Richard Roland, Steve Routman, and Kimberly Whalen.
