On Monday, November 12, Eve Ensler's Emotional Creature made its Off-Broadway debut at the Pershing Square Signature Center, where it began performances on October 26 with direction by Jo Bonney and musical direction by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder.

Opening night guests included Oscar winner Christine Lahti, author and activist Gloria Steinem, Tony Award-winning actress LaChanze, Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey, author and social activist Naomi Klein, and Tony Award nominated director Diane Paulus.

The show is comprised of original monologues and songs about and for girls. The cast features 2012 Drama Desk nominee Joaquina Kalukango, along with Ashley Bryant, Molly Carden, Emily S. Grosland, Sade Namei, and Olivia Oguma.
