Royal Shakespeare Company Announces 2011 Stratford Season

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced its productions for its upcoming 2011 season, to run April 14-November 5 at its two theaters in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Productions will include Marat/Sade, directed by Anthony Neilson; Harold Pinter's The Homecoming; directed by David Farr; Cardenio, directed by Gregory Doran; Philip Massinger's 1632 comedy The City Madam; and David Greig's recent hit Dunsinane.

In addition, there will be three new productions of Shakespeare works: The Merchant of Venice, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Macbeth, directed by, respectively, Rupert Goold, Nancy Meckler, and Michael Boyd.
