Patrick Breen, Judy Kuhn, Frances McDormand, Lili Taylor, et al. Set for 52nd Street Project’s Holy Cow!: The Astonishing Plays

Patrick Breen, Liza Colon-Zayas, Diane Davis, Ned Eisenberg, Liza Fernandez, Sam Ghosh, Grant Harrison, Jennifer Ikeda, Matthew Jellison, Judy Kuhn, January LaVoy, Frances McDormand, Kevin O’Rourke, Bhavesh Patel, Annie Purcell, Christina Robinson, Ken Robinson, Keith Randolph Smith, Lili Taylor and Ray Anthony Thomas are scheduled to appear in The 52nd Street Project‘s Holy Cow!: The Astonishing Plays, to be offered December 10-12, at the group’s Five Angels Theater.

The show will highlight the writing of the young people who participate in the organization’s nine-week playwriting course, which includes not only class sessions, but also an out of town “writer’s retreat” in the countryside. The performances are the final step in allowing students to complete the expression of his or her personal vision.

The young people who have written the plays include Faisal Afridi, Melody Cruz, Kaitlin Feliciano, Edelys Tiana Guerrero, Genesis Hires, Ahmed Nasser, Amanda Rosa, Derek Tineo, Jeremy Vazquez and Lambert Whitney. Diana Buirski, Tim Cain, Angel Desai, Crystal Dickinson, Sonia Manzano, Rafael Miguel, Josh Moody, Martin Moran, Erin Quinn Purcell, John Sheehy, Felix Solis and Justin Waldman serve as director-dramturgs for the pieces.
