The concert will benefit ASTEP -- an organization dedicated to using the power of art to change and inspire individuals and communities in Africa, India and the U.S. -- in addition to celebrating the release of a CD inspired by the first New York City Christmas event.
Artists featured on the CD also include Constantine Maroulis and Raul Esparza. The disc features pop, soul, R&B, and rock interpretations of songs such as "Santa Claus Is Coming' to Town," Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Silent Night" and "New York Christmas."
Pre-orders for the New York City Christmas disc are now being taken. The recording will be released on iTunes on November 17 and be available for purchase in stores on December 8.
